The Coral Glades High School football team has some talent early in the season and could have a winning season.

Coach Cam Thomas said he believes the Jaguars could be 6-4 or 7-3 this season and he hopes the team advances in the playoffs. Like most high school football coaches in the early season he is cautiously optimistic.
“I have to be realistic. We have some talent but we are a young team. We need to gain some experience. We can do well,” said Thomas.
Last year the team Jaguars finished second the district. This year the Jaguars face Taravella, Western and Cypress Bay in district play. The Jaguars will travel to Georgia to play a powerhouse Valdosta team. Thomas also expects tough competition from Stranahan, and Miramar.
Top players include Kervens St. Juste at receiver and cornerback, Craig Allen at wide receiver, Jayde Chico at quarterback, Amir Collings also at quarterback, Carlton Boggs at outside linebacker and Darryl Pauling at defensive end.
Boggs said, “We have to play hard and together to win.”
Chico said, “We have to work hard every day and be on the same page.”
