The Coral Glades High School baseball team defeated Piper 5-0 to win the opening round game of the district tournament. Tomorrow night the Jaguars face the top seed and host, Taravella.
Coach Joe Franco was pleased with the win and said, “Emmanuel Sohit pitched well. He pitched for six innings and had no runs. He had seven strike outs. The whole team played well,”
But tomorrow the Jaguars will face a stronger test. “Taravella will have a top pitcher against us,” said Franco.
Both Taravella and Coral Glades have played very well this season so it should be a good game.
