BOCA RATON, Fla. – Head Coach Steve Grotowski and the Florida Atlantic Owls announce their upcoming 2025 season schedule, which will kick off on February 21.
The Sandy Owls are set to compete in eight tournaments during the 2025 regular season, visiting Tampa, FIU, TCU, Stetson, Florida State, and Tulane, as well as hosting a pair of home tournaments, one in Pompano Beach and one in Boca Raton. Florida Atlantic will begin postseason play in Youngsville, Louisiana for the Conference USA Championship, and will seek their third national appearance in Huntington Beach, California, for the 2025 NCAA Championship.
Florida Atlantic will kick off the 2025 season in Tampa for the Tampa Invite on Feb. 21-22, taking on Washington, FIU, Georgia State, and host Tampa. Florida Atlantic will then return to south Florida as the Sandy Owls compete in the FIU Invite on Feb. 28 – March 1, facing off against Utah, Palm Beach Atlantic, Southern Miss, and host FIU. The Sandy Owls will then head to the Lone Star State to compete in the TCU Invitational on March 7-8. Florida Atlantic will match up against Texas, Boise State, Florida State, and host TCU.
The Sandy Owls’ 2025 home slate will begin on March 15-16 as they host the Florida Atlantic Beach Invitational, hosting UAB, Georgia State, reigning four-time national champion USC, and TCU. Florida Atlantic will close out March in DeLand, competing at the Stetson Beach Blast against Palm Beach Atlantic, Florida State, Erskine, and host Stetson.
Florida Atlantic will open up the month of April in Tallahassee, Florida, at the FSU Unconquered Invitational, facing off against reigning national champion USC, LSU, Texas, Florida State, and South Florida. The Sandy Owls will then return to Paradise to host the Capri Classic for senior weekend on April 11-12, welcoming UTEP, FGCU, and South Florida.
The Sandy Owls will wrap up the regular season on the road, visiting New Orleans, Louisiana for Tulane’s NOLA Classic on April 18-19, facing off against McNeese, San Jose State, Tarleton State, and host Tulane.
The Conference USA Championship will kick off postseason play in Youngsville, Louisiana on April 24-26, followed by the NCAA Championship tournament on May 2-4 in Huntington Beach, California.
