After trailing by 12 in the first quarter, the Bulls exploded with a 40-point second quarter, led by Coby White (21 points, 8 rebounds) and Nikola Vucevic (19 points, 12 rebounds). Chicago’s defense tightened, forcing turnovers and holding Washington to 18 points in the second quarter.
Alex Sarr impressed for the Wizards with 20 points, while Kyle Kuzma added 23. Bulls coach Billy Donovan highlighted their defensive focus, calling it a “key turning point” in the game .
