GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Southeastern Conference announced each of its 14 member institutions’ 2021-22 Brad David Community Service Award Winners on Thursday.
Bettina Boszormenyi (women’s swimming & diving) and Anthony Duruji (men’s basketball) were selected as Florida’s recipients.

Duruji was also an integral member of the Black Student-Athlete Council, in which he attended biweekly meetings to discuss issues around the country and on campus pertaining race and being a black student athlete. He was also a member of the SEC Men’s Basketball Leadership Council, where he discussed changes around the SEC and what that would look like for the league, along with discussing the issues/concerns of student-athletes on campus.
During his two seasons on the court with Florida, Duruji totaled 409 points and 231 rebounds in 55 appearances.
