5/19/2025 | Baseball CLEARWATER, Fla. – Florida Atlantic baseball will face Tulane in the first round of the American Athletic Conference Tournament on Tuesday morning in Clearwater, Florida. First pitch between the Owls (36-19, 15-12) and the Green Wave (30-23, 13-14) is scheduled for 9 a.m. on ESPN+. OWLS IN REVIEW The Owls finished the regular season by taking two of three games against UAB They hit six home runs in the series opener on Thursday, including two each by Jake Millan and John Schroeder After an 11-3 defeat on Friday, the Owls bounced back to win the regular season finale 4-3 on Saturday. Marshall Lipsey hit a go-ahead three-run home run in the seventh inning. Five Owls earned All-AAC honors on Monday, led by Lipsey and Trey Beard on the First Team. Brando Leroux and MJ Bollinger were named to the Second Team. James Litman earned his place on the All-Freshman Team. WHO’S HOT Nick Romano is hitting .361 (13-for-36) in the last 10 games. Schroeder’s two home runs on Thursday put him at 32 for his career, one away from joining the Top 10 in program history. THE OPPONENT Tulane was swept by Charlotte at home in the final weekend of the regular season. The Green Wave are the two-time defending American Athletic Conference Tournament champions. OPPONENT HISTORY The Owls took two of three games against the Green Wave when the sides met in New Orleans in early May. Tulane eliminated the Owls from last season’s AAC Tournament on their way to their second straight title.
