| 3/3/2025 | Baseball BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic junior Jake Duer and sophomore Trey Beard have each been named to the American Conference Weekly Honorable Mention List. This is the second honorable mention nod of the season for each player. Beard was dominant again in Friday’s 5-2 win over Fordham. He set a new career-high with 12 strikeouts in six innings – his third straight start with double-digit Ks. He allowed just two hits and one unearned run. Duer put together a 9-for-17 line at the plate across four games. He doubled three times and scored six runs. He went 4-for-5 on Saturday – his fourth four-hit game of the season.
