FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Bally Sports Florida, the network home of the Florida Panthers, will celebrate the Panthers 2021-22 regular season home opener on Thursday, Oct. 14 with a full evening of premiere programming and broadcast enhancements. Two brand new episodes of “Inside the Panthers” will debut before and after the game and live coverage from FLA Live Arena will begin at 6 p.m. with a special one-hour “Panthers Live” pregame show.
Additionally, Panthers General Manager Bill Zito will discuss the team’s offseason and outlook when he joins Bally Sports Florida host Jessica Blaylock during the first intermission and play-by-play announcer Steve “Goldie” Goldstein’s on-ice interview during warmups will return for viewers at home. Reporter Katie Gaus and Jessica also plan to chat with Panthers players as they arrive, and a one-on-one interview with Katie and Head Coach Joel Quenneville will air before puck drop.
Panthers fans are encouraged to tune in starting at 5 p.m. for “Inside the Panthers: FTL War Memorial,” followed by the premiere of “Inside the Panthers: Offseason Building Blocks.” This new episode bring viewers behind-the-scenes at the team’s draft party at the Lauderdale Yacht Club, where Florida selected Mackie Samoskevich with their top selection and traded for Buffalo’s leading scorer in Sam Reinhart.
Upon conclusion of the “Panthers Live” postgame show, viewers can enjoy Bally Sports Florida’s season-preview with “Inside the Panthers: The Journey Begins.” Color analyst Randy Moller and analyst Ed Jovanovski join Jessica on this episode that features interviews with Panthers players about the challenges and opportunities around this season.
