  • The American will have three unbeaten teams heading into Week 6 of the season. Memphis and North Texas are both 5-0, while Navy is 4-0.
  • Memphis and North Texas are two of the nation’s nine 5-0 teams (along with Ole Miss, Missouri, Vanderbilt, Iowa State, Oregon, Georgia Tech and Indiana).
  • The only FBS conferences with multiple unbeaten teams are the American, the ACC, the Big Ten, the Big 12 and the SEC.
  • Ten of the American’s 14 teams are at .500 or better through five weeks of the season.
