- North Texas defeated Navy, 31-17, on Saturday to improve to 8-1 on the season. The loss for the Midshipmen ended the nation’s second-longest active win streak.
- North Texas has scored at least 30 points in all eight games this season. The Mean Green has scored at least 50 points four times.
- The Mean Green did not score in the fourth quarter against Navy, ending a streak of 32 consecutive quarters with a score, including overtime periods.
- Dawson Jones’ 27-yard field goal with time expiring propelled Army to a 20-17 win at Air Force. The field goal was set up by Cale Hellums’ 42-yard to Brady Anderson with 24 seconds left.
- Army has beaten Air Force three consecutive times, its first 3-game streak in the series since 1976-78, and has won seven of the last nine meetings.
