  • UTSA won its 22nd consecutive regular season home contest, defeating Tulane, 48-26, on Thursday night.
  • UTSA QB Owen McCown completed his first 16 passes, a Roadrunner record, and was 31-of-33 with 370 yards and four touchdowns. His completion percentage of 93.9 percent is tied for the second-best in conference history.
  • Memphis also improved to 8-1 on the season, defeating Rice, 38-14, on Friday night.
  • Memphis scored at least 20 points for the 48th consecutive game, the nation’s longest active streak.
  • With Memphis RB Frank Peasant scoring three rushing touchdowns, the Tigers are the only FBS team this season to feature four players with at least six rushing touchdowns – Peasant, Brendon Lewis, Sutton Smith and Greg Desrosiers Jr.
  • North Texas defeated Navy, 31-17, on Saturday to improve to 8-1 on the season. The loss for the Midshipmen ended the nation’s second-longest active win streak.
  • North Texas has scored at least 30 points in all eight games this season. The Mean Green has scored at least 50 points four times.
  • The Mean Green did not score in the fourth quarter against Navy, ending a streak of 32 consecutive quarters with a score, including overtime periods.
  • Dawson Jones’ 27-yard field goal with time expiring propelled Army to a 20-17 win at Air Force. The field goal was set up by Cale Hellums’ 42-yard to Brady Anderson with 24 seconds left.
  • Army has beaten Air Force three consecutive times, its first 3-game streak in the series since 1976-78, and has won seven of the last nine meetings.
