American Conference Football Release/Media Services | September 2

  • The American will issue player availability reports in advance of all conference games in the 2025 season, beginning with Saturday’s game between UAB and Navy. Reports will be published to the American website and on social media no later than two hours prior to kickoff for conference games.
  • Memphis enters Week 2 with a five-game winning streak, which is tied with Ohio State, TCU, Air Force, Florida and Illinois for the nation’s longest active streak. Navy has won four straight, which ties Michigan, Missouri, LSU and Louisville for seventh.
  • UTSA, which plays its home opener Saturday against Texas State, has won its last 10 games at the Alamodome and has won 17 of its last 18 home games. The Roadrunners are 29-3 at home under head coach Jeff Traylor. Memphis has won its last nine home games.
