IRVING, Texas – The American Conference has announced the winner of the league’s weekly golf honors.
Men’s Golf Player of the Week
Wilhelm Ryding, Jr., South Florida
In a stacked field, Ryding finished in 5th place at the Linger Longer Invitational on March 22, shooting 8-under 208. Currently the 40th ranked player, Ryding finished above five ranked players in the Clippd rankings. He finished his final round shooting 5-under 67 to move up nine spots and into the top five.
Women’s Golf Player of the Week
Regina Plascencia, Sr., South Florida
Plascencia helped lead the Bulls to a first place finish at the Bell Bank “Pay it Forward” Collegiate on March 24. The senior was the top finisher in the field of 82, shooting 9-under 204. She began the tournament shooting 5-under 66 to take the early tournament lead.
