Memphis is fifth in Division I in 3-point percentage at 39.6 percent, led by Tyrese Hunter, who is second in The American at 41.3 percent from behind the arc.

UAB’s Yaxel Lendeborg is third in Division I with 19 double-doubles on the season and has broken The American record for career double-doubles with 38. Dedric Lawson of Memphis (2015-17) had the previous record of 36.
He is one of two players in Division I (Duke’s Cooper Flagg) that leads his team in points (17.8), rebounds (11.0), assists (4.3), steals (1.6) and blocks (1.8).

Temple’s Jamal Mashburn Jr is third in Division I in scoring with 22.0 points per contest, Memphis’ PJ Haggerty is sixth with 21.3 points per game.
UTSA’s Primo Spears became the sixth player in conference history to score 40 points in a game, dropping 40 against Tulsa on January 7.
