(On what adjustments the Jaguars defense made) “They started to stop our run game come second half. We were doing good in our game the first half, but then they started sending their nickel in, plugging the gaps. Shout out to them. Good defense. They shut our running game down.”
(On not being able to cancel out the adjustments Jacksonville made) “It was very frustrating not being able to run the type of offense you want to run, getting three and outs and things like that.”
(On how he was able to have a standout year among a deep receiving core) “Confidence. A lot of players in the NFL need to have confidence. If any player in the league has confidence, they can do whatever they want to, be whoever they want to be. That’s one thing I took out of this season and I plan on bringing it to next season.”
(On how he can relay that message to the rest of his team) “It starts with the vets. We look up to those guys and how they handle themselves, how they prepare, and just being a pro. As time goes, the younger guys, including myself, we take those things and we learn from it. It builds confidence going into the game.”
