Florida Gators men’s tennis has been tabbed as the No. 24-ranked team in the nation by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s preseason rankings.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida Gators men’s tennis has been tabbed as the No. 24-ranked team in the nation by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s preseason rankings. This marks the eighteenth consecutive season that the Gators have cracked ITA’s preseason top-25.
The ITA Top 25 Coaches Poll is voted on by the ITA National Ranking Committee. The National Ranking Committee is made up of the 13 ITA Region Chairs, with each chair casting an individual ballot.
The Gators enter the 2025 spring slate with two players and two doubles teams ranked on ITA’s singles and doubles rankings.
Jeremy Jin<https://floridagators.com/sports/mens-tennis/roster/jeremy-jin/16118> will be entering the season as the 41st-ranked singles player in Division I collegiate tennis, and the top-ranked Gator on the list.
Jin is joined by Henry Jefferson<https://floridagators.com/sports/mens-tennis/roster/henry-jefferson/16661> (106) who is also ranked in doubles alongside Tanapatt Nirundorn<https://floridagators.com/sports/mens-tennis/roster/tanapatt-nirundorn/16114> (16).
Kevin Edengren<https://floridagators.com/sports/mens-tennis/roster/kevin-edengren/16662> and Jin round out the ranked Gators opening their spring season ranked No.76.
The Gators begin their spring schedule with a doubleheader against Georgia Southern and North Florida at the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex, on Jan. 20.
